AUTOMATIC WIRELESS HEALTH MONITORING SYSTEM IN HOSPITALS FOR PATIENTS

Model no.17:

In this project, a generic real-time wireless communication system is designed and developed for short and long term remote patient monitoring applying appropriate protocol. The primary function of this system is to monitor the temperature of a patient’s body. The data collected by the digital temperature sensor is sent to the Microcontroller. The Microcontroller transmits the data over the air by RF (radio frequency). At the receiving end a receiver is used to receive the data and it decodes and feeds it to the Microcontroller, which is then displayed over the LCD display. Optional feature: - If there is a dangerous change in patient's status an alarm will sound. The power supply consists of a step down transformer 230/12V, which steps down the voltage to 12V AC. This is converted to DC using a Bridge rectifier. The ripples are removed using a capacitive filter and it is then regulated to +5V using a voltage regulator 7805 which is required for the operation of the microcontroller and other components.
